On Sunday, 9 March, I'm taking part in Western Sydney's Memory Walk & Jog to raise funds to support Australians impacted by dementia. This is a cause close to my heart and I would love your support.

Not many people know, but dementia is Australia's second-leading cause of death. By 2058 it's expected that over 800,000 Australians will have dementia. But we can change this.
All money I raise will support the work of Dementia Australia and help provide vital support services like counselling, support groups, education, and research to help find a cure.

My Updates
This weekend I'll be participating in my 4th Memory Walk and Jog event. As the 2nd leading cause of death in Australia, a disease that my beautiful mother suffered from, this event helps raise funds to increase the services that Dementia Australia can offer to all families on this journey.
With an estimated 433,000 people in Australia diagnosed, there is a tribe of family supporting them.
I am proud to say over the last 3 events my family and I - participating as "Ann's Girls" - have raised over $30,000. We have a goal of $50,000 and we'll keep going for as many years as it takes.
Mums legacy is not defined by this disease. She was compassionate, giving and always up for a fun time. She never wanted to be a burden and because of this she masked her symptoms for a long time. If we knew earlier we could have been able to provide more support and engage the help of DA sooner too.
