Share my fundraising effort with your network and let's beat dementia, together.

Help me raise money in support of my Mum, Rosie and the 421,000 Australians living with dementia.

On Sunday, 18 May, I'm taking part in Melbourne Memory Walk & Jog to raise funds to support Australians impacted by dementia. This is a cause close to my heart and I would love your support.

My mum Rosie was diagnosed with Younger Onset Alzheimer’s in 2018, the diagnosis affected her life and the life our family as we thought she was too young to have dementia.

Mum always had a passion to advocate and bring awareness for those to find strength in her determination to live without assistance for as long as that was safe and practical.

Mum is in an amazing care home with other women who also have neurological conditions which affect their memory, the care provider New Growth Care Group have been exceptionally supportive and given her a safe home style environment so she can have quality of life as she is in the advanced stages of Alzheimer’s.

Early-onset Alzheimer's disease (EOAD) is a rare form of Alzheimer's disease that affects people before age 65.

Dementia is more common in older people, but people in their sixties, fifties, forties and even thirties can develop it. In 2025 there are an estimated 29,000 people living with younger onset dementia. This figure is expected to increase to an estimated 41,000 people by 2054.

Please make a donation to support my efforts and help us reach our goal to beat dementia.

Not many people know, but dementia is Australia's second-leading cause of death. By 2058 it's expected that over 800,000 Australians will have dementia. But we can change this.

All money I raise will support the work of Dementia Australia and help provide vital support services like counselling, support groups, education, and research to help find a cure.

Together we can achieve a lot. Your donation would mean the world to me.

It’s easy to think that you won’t be affected by dementia, the likelihood is that you are already likely to know someone or their family member who has, donating to dementia is a a way you can help others who will feel this impact in the future.

Thanks for your support!
