Who are
Dementia Australia
Australia's national peak body for people impacted by dementia.
How does Dementia Australia make an impact?
We give people with dementia the respect they deserve and the support they need.
Dementia Australia represents over 421,000 Australians living with dementia and the almost 1.6 million Australians involved in their care. Dementia is the second leading cause of death in Australia and there is no cure. Which is why we need your support.
All funds raised through Memory Walk & Jog goes to Dementia Australia’s work in information, education, and support services such as individual counselling and group therapy sessions.
Together, we’re on a mission to find treatments, slow the progression, improve diagnosis and ultimately cure dementia.
MW&J is a wonderful show of community spirit with people walking, jogging and running in support of people living with dementia, their families and carers.
