I’m doing a MY Memory Walk & Jog for my Dad Chris, who suffered from alzheimer's and passed away in 2015 and to raise funds for people currently suffering with dementia.

I’ll be completing a MY Memory Walk & Jog by riding from Mitcham to Balnarring beach (approximately 85 km) to raise funds to support people with dementia.

But I need your help! Please make a donation to support my efforts and help me reach my goal to beat dementia.

All funds raised will support the work of Dementia Australia to provide vital support services for people living with dementia, their families and carers. These services include counselling, support groups, education and training.

Here is the route I took. Only about 5 km was on a road (just coming into Somerville) the rest was on bike paths.

Hi all, 
Just completed the ride. I took just under 6 hours and ended up being 90km.
Hardly any rain but lots of head wind 
Once again thanks so much for donating and helping people with Dementia 

Finally about to start the ride

Looks a bit damp, but not too bad. Finally starting the ride after nearly 5 months.
Thanks to everyone how has donated.

We are out of lockdown, time to complete the ride.

If seems like a long time between when I originally was going to do the ride back in July and now, but it is now time to get on my bike.
So I will be starting bright and early this Thursday (10th Dec).

Convid-19 has hit.

Thank you so much for everyone who has donation. I was planning on doing the ride tomorrow (9july2020), however convid-19 has put my plans on hold.  I will have to wait out the 6 weeks before my big ride. 

This will give me more time to get my legs ready for the ride.

Proposed Trek

Hi all,
Training is going well. I have posted 2 photo's of the proposed trek. 
Pic 1. From Mitcham along the east link bike trail, then onto peninsula link trail, then onto Somerville.
Pic 2. From Somerville along Western Port trail, via Hastings then onto Balnarring. From there just 2 km more to Balnarring Beach.
