We're doing the Melbourne Memory Jog to raise funds for the 421,000 Australian's living with dementia.

On Sunday, 18 May, we’ll be joining the Melbourne Memory Walk & Jog to show our love and help Dementia Australia.
This is a very special organisation to our family. Our Dad, husband has had Alzheimer's for the better part of 10 years.
So many people have been impacted by this disease, so we don’t need to tell you how awful it is.
It has placed an enormous pressure on Dad, and those impacts have been felt by our family too.
Alzheimer’s disease is a constant grieving process. The changes are as regular as you see in a new born baby, except for Dad it’s a new deterioration.
He struggles enormously with his speech, word finding, cognition and memory. This is hard for a man who is incredibly intelligent, meticulous and social.
Despite the fact he isn’t the Dad we’ve always known, he is just as incredible - gentle, thoughtful, funny, and is best on ground at any party.
Did you know that 1.5 million carers, family members and friends are involved in the care of someone living with dementia in Australia. That's why we're hoping to raise as much money as possible. We'll be walking, jogging, and running to stop dementia in its tracks.
We'd love you to join us on the day, but if you can't, a generous donation will help provide vital services like counselling, support groups, education, and research to find a cure.
