We're doing the Adelaide Memory Walk & Jog to raise funds for the 421,000 Australian's living with dementia.
On Sunday, 6 April, we’ll be joining the Adelaide Memory Walk & Jog to honour our mum Linda who lived for the past 6 years with a rare form of dementia.
We have been part of this event for a few years now, but this year will be especially emotional for us. Our mum sadly passed away on 17th March 2025 — just a few weeks prior to this event.
Mum’s life passion was to serve and support as many people as she could. Being part of this fundraising event is such a special and significant way for us to honour her life while raising much needed funds.
Our hope and heart is that people with dementia are treated as equally deserving of dignity and respect regardless of their perceived cognition, capacity or communication abilities. We know that the money raised will help improve awareness of the challenges faced when living with dementia and improve access and availability of supports for those affected by dementia (and their families)
This cause is so close to our hearts and we're grateful for any support you can give.
