Help us raise money for the 420,000 Australians living with dementia.

We're hosting our very own MyWay Memory Walk & Jog event to support Australian's impacted by dementia. This is a cause close to our heart and we would love your support.

Please make a donation to support our efforts and help us reach our goal to beat dementia.

Not many people know, but dementia is Australia's second-leading cause of death.

But we can help change this!

All money we raise will support the work of Dementia Australia and help provide vital support services like counselling, support groups, education, and research to help find a cure.

Why the Memory Walk / Jog

the past 18 months my family has drastically changed with my dad's diagnosis of Lewy Body Dementia. All the emotions have been worn on the inside AND out. Fear, relief, and anger are probably the most common. Denial and hope are in there too. 

Dementia Australia has been a vital source of information for me to try and understand what is happening to my dad. Saving articles to send to my brothers, watching webinars, reading stories it all helps.

Dad is still fighting the losing battle of dementia and a piece of my heart breaks off never to be repaired every time I see him as we witness his slow decline into the darkness of dementia.  

Vital funds are needed to help fund research, resources, care and everything else to fight against dementia. 
This is why I'm walking this year and probably every year! For my dad.
Who 2 years ago would be walking beside me.
Who 1 year ago would be walking and maybe stopping for a bit but would finish beside me.
Who this year can't walk beside me....  But maybe I'll find him a scooter.
